Great analysis, APL! I wish I could articulate some of these to a liberal, but one can hardly utilize logic with them. In fact, I can't get five seconds into an explanation before they start in with the trite sound bites they've heard from their friends or read on the net (i.e., "no blood for oil", "Bush was selected, not elected", and so on.) Given this tendency, the only option is to ask them questions....Are you absolutely sure there is no connection between A-Q and Saddam - such that you would bet your life savings on it?, How do you know this for a fact, and what are your sources? If a straight line connection could be provided, would you be willing to go to war?, etc.
But alas, I'm really not sure it's worth the time with these folks. It seems they are going to cling to their ignorance and illogic....even when exposed as fools such as can be found here: http://homepage.mac.com/evancm/brain-terminal/da-peace_web.mov
