Bush Declares War On White Fear
BONDs Founder Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson first popularized the phrase to describe the great fear white Americans have of standing up to belligerent blacks. For years whites have been afraid to tell the truth to blacks, for fear of being called racists. And black leaders have been expert at keeping the guilt of slavery and Jim Crow alive for their own selfish ends. But President Bushs actions on Friday may signal that the days of White Fear are numbered.
There have been encouraging signs in recent years. Bill OReilly, for instance, a man as white as they come, has been relentless in his pursuit of shakedown artist supreme Jesse Jackson.
There are signs of a growing resistance on the part of white Americans. Perhaps the ridiculous reparations movement and its accompanying demands were the final straw. Hopefully the voices of BOND and others have helped to expose the great race game to a large segment of America.
Now the President has finally stepped into the ring. White House Spokesman Ari Fleisher announced Friday that the Bush administration will impose economic sanctions on Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and 76 other high-ranking government officials, who the U.S. accuse of undermining democracy.
Bush issued an executive order freezing their assets, and barred Americans from engaging in any transactions or dealings with them. The sanctions take effect immediately. The European Union has already taken similar steps.
Mugabe is infamous for having mandated a policy of forcibly seizing the farmland of white citizens in Zimbabwe (formerly white-majority Rhodesia) and giving it to blacks, and has thereby encouraged violenceresulting even in murderagainst those white citizens. His country has descended into economic crisis and famine in large part due to this seizure. In addition, accusations of fraud haunt his most recent re-election in 2002. Mugabe has been the countrys president since 1980, when the country gained its independence.
I knew President Bush would hear the accusation Racist! in regards to his order almost immediately. Sure enough, it happened. On Friday evening Reuters posted a story covering the administrations announcement. By Saturday morning CNN was reporting that an unnamed senior Zimbabwean official had condemned the U.S. actions as part of a white racist attack on Zimbabwe!
The opposition movement in Zimbabwe, the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), had a different take. They said the U.S. sanctions represented a principled stand against tyranny. Let by President Morgan Tsvangirai, the organizations leadership is black, not white. Tsvangirai and many observers accused Mugabe of rigging last years elections after Tsvangirai was defeated.
I wholeheartedly congratulate President Bush for his bold actions against Mugabe. I voiced my disappointment with him in this column last December when he repudiated his friend Senator Lotts ill-chosen statements while refusing to voice any support for the man himself, all while he refused to repudiate known black racists. The President had at that point already imposed a travel ban to America on Mugabe, but Mugabe openly violated it without U.S. response.
The situation has changed since then. In February, Mugabe attacked President Bush, as well as British Prime Minister Tony Blair, calling them imperialists who want to impose a new form of colonialism on developing countries. Perhaps Mr. Bush is just another American guilty of White Fear, who simply got tired of being kicked in the face every time he bowed his head to a black racist.
Frankly, I find the future possibilities kind of exciting. Perhaps the President will finally label South African President Nelson Mandela the Communist-Socialist ass that he is, and tell him to take a jump into the sea. Mandelas been begging for it, recently publicly calling into question the Presidents mental faculties. Next the IRS could finally audit Jesse Jackson and his whole boycott-for-profit nonprofit operation. And the President could top it all off by officially declaring war on Iraq and banning world class racist Louis Farrakhan from setting foot on America soil, ever again!
Standing up to a murderous thug like Saddam Hussein is one thing, but taking on black racists worldwidenow thats enough to give White Fear a very bad name. Carry on, Mr. President.
Ye Gads! That is the pot calling the kettle black! What utter nonsense, Mugabe has single handily pushed his country to ruin with his confiscating of white owned and run farms that fed his people. All were Zimbabweans regardless of color, but Mugabe the racist wanted only black Zimbabweans to own the land, the only fly in the ointment is, they cant farm and never could. Mugabe and his cronies love the good life, they let the white farmers carry the burden of feeding that country for many years, now let them eat dirt.
As for Louis Farrakhan, he doesnt deserve the luxury of living in this country one day longer; to heck with declaring war, throw the bas**** out along with the likes of all anti-Americans who are running off at the mouth and that includes the Black Caucus who have championed the African dictator just because he is African and black.
Hooray for President Bush!
I don't see it happening as the Demo's need their votes and will continue to exchange goodies (like racial quotas) for votes.
If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.
The world is in good hands.... BARF!
