Congratulations! I totally hear you 'bout not using the name -- our profession can be petty. But thank you for sharing your story! I live in DC and there are a peck of conservative lawyers that belong to this website 'round these parts.
I too voted for Jimmy Carter, I confess. Hee hee -- I'd hate to see what Dansangel would do with that information if she got ahold of it. It's not *that* much of an embarassment: he ran a very values-oriented, almost religious campaign. Obviously, Presidency didn't turn out quite right! :0
I remember where I was during the height of the hyperinflation, the gas shortage, and taking of our hostages in Tehran, LOL!: wishing I hadn't voted for Jimmy Carter, God Bless him.

Congratulations on your special day DG.
Jimmy Carter was the governer of Georgia before he ran for President so I knew better than to vote for him, my mom voted for him though and I still kid her about it. :)

I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one to make that mistake of voting for Jimmy Carter in 1976.
It shows that we can all learn from our mistakes and move on. :^)

FTH any suggestion on organizing a rally you can pass on? Our local GOP leader wimpped out..he's busy with a GOP fund raiser the 22nd, his plate is full it seems as he is also a state coordinator. Didn't have any other names to suggest.
