I agree. Why did they have to go back?

Why would we send these wretches back to misery? The only good reason that comes to mind is that we told them to tell their comrades to surrender when the starters pistol sounds. This is really stupid. We should let any Iraqis who want to surrender now surrender now. Everyone knows the US is going to have an overwhelming victory. The real question is how low we can keep the score. It's pretty obvious Iraqi army units aren't getting much news.

It is believed that two rings of steel...Two rings of TP more likely.

. . . inner [defense circle] is made up of Republican Guard fightersSmooth move, Saddam. Concentrate those vermin one place. It will conserve munitions and time on our side. Better yet, we won't have to play "Where's Waldo" to find your ugly mug. We'll just fire for effect on the center of mass.

The stunned Paras from 16 Air Assault Brigade were forced to tell the Iraqis they were not firing at them, and ordered them back to their home country telling them it was too early to surrender. Humor ping

Heck, they are probably looking for some food. Would be surprised if they didn't get some of the British equivalent to the MRE.

This time we're prepared for it. Camps will be set up in Iraq and the supplies and medical care are all ready for them.I certainly hope you're right, but after all those years of Saddam and millions of needy Iraqis,......
Oh well, let's hand them all over to Kofi Annan and the U.N. with Chirac and the Germans supplying their opinions.

Smooth move, Saddam. Concentrate those vermin one place. It will conserve munitions and time on our side. Better yet, we won't have to play "Where's Waldo" to find your ugly mug. We'll just fire for effect on the center of mass. Can we say, "MOAB"?

The Iraqis found a way across the fortified border, which is sealed off with barbed-wire fencing, watchtowers and huge trenches. And these guys just happened to stumble across the border? Sounds more like they were defecting.
To: Melinda in TN
Our leaflets have been encouraging Iraqi soldiers to "go home and watch your children grow up." If these guys would rather do that than die in a ditch for a vile creature who
tortures children, I wouldn't call it cowardly, I'd call it being a normal human being.
This is one conflict in which soldierly qualities on the Iraqi side deserve no respect. Nine tenths of the few who fight "bravely" will be doing so because they have committed crimes against humanity and know that their neighbors will string them up anyway.

Come back later we aren't taking prisoners yet.

ordered them back to their home country telling them it was too early to surrender. You can see why the French love the Iraqis so much.
I am laughing out loud, rolling on the floor, sides hurting, not able to breath and getting a head-ache.
Like they say, GOOD HUMOR always has a basis in truth.
