Actually, it is more correct than plausible. "The spanish are sympathetic to our cause" is a direct quote from a First Ranked that I know.

"Amerika" was a mini-series with Kris Kristofferson. Perhaps you refer to the "cult classic" movie called "Red Dawn"?
