Not only that, but the missiles (although illegal under one or more resolutions) are not WMDs (the important stuff).
Geesh! How can Blix and others be so ignorant?

In a statement after a meeting chaired by Saddam Hussein, the Iraqi leadership made a set of demands that it said the U.N. Security Council should implement after Friday's reports by chief U.N. weapons inspectors Hans Blix and Mohamed ElBaradei.

How exactly is "news" transmitted from alternate universes?

In my universe, Iraq is in no position to "demand" anything.
