It might not be because of Rush, but of course that won't stop him from taking credit for it.

I hope I can at least get the audio of this sometime soon. If any of you west coasters can capture it to a movie file and put in on kazza or a website, that would be great.

Nope
Ackroid and Jane Curtin did Point Counterpoint every week on the original SNL, and Dan opened every counterpoint "Jane, you ignorant slut". It was an irresistable play.

That's cool. Lorne Michaels has been doing pretty good with the opening skits lately.

Too bad Norm MacDonald isn't Dole. He does Dole better than Dole. I think he was fired. I wonder what he did to piss off Lorne.

I presume Darrell Hammond does Clinton.

Can't wait to see it.

I don't think they had to get that idea from Rush.
"Bill, you ignorant slut", was the first thing that popped into my mind when I heard about this new "Point Counterpoint" thing with Dole and Clinton, and I bet anybody who regularly watched Saturday Night Live in the late '70s had exactly the same thought. Those old skits with Jane Curtain were classic.
