Very few laughs for the Bush-bashing Clinton character.
More laughs for the Clinton-bashing Dole character. It must've killed Dan Aykroyd to beat up on Bill Clinton.

Very funny. El Rushbo suggested they should do that a few days ago.

It was also very surprising to me that when Clinton talked about running for a third term there were NO cheers.

Norm McDonald actually does a better Dole than Dan Ackyroyd, but obviously he isn't being invited back anymore.
To see Norm as Bob Dole, threaten to kill somebody with the ball point pen that Bob Dole always has in his bad hand, is a thing of beauty.
To: Grig
My favorite part was when Dole called Clinton a sociopath.

MAD TV had an anti-France, -Germany, -Saddam, -North Korea skit, too. I had seen earlier SNL skits indicating they were on our side, but tonight was the first I'd seen on MAD TV. They've hired an actor who does a pretty good Kim Il-Jong (too late to doublecheck spelling) who was dancing with a Fat Boy looking bomb earlier. Ackroyd was great and Clinton was his usual self-absorbed self.

LOL at Horatio Sanz as Khalid Shaikh Mohammed. Stick a mustache on him and ruffle up his hair and he is a dead ringer.

Clinton's fagile ego won't be able to take this....I know he watches SNL religously, per George Stephanopolis.
Good! Let him eat cake.

GREAT. I hope they get more air time for the spoof than for the 'real' show.

I just went to see what the DUhers were saying about SNL tonite. As usual, they make the highly debatable claim that the show was "anti-war". Just like those "polls" they cite where they say most Americans just want to live in happy peace with good old Uncle Saddam and think W is the antichrist.
To: Grig
The X-Presidents was a pretty good skit too. The Gipper had a few good jokes about Carter.
Carter: Well, a lot of people don't think war is the right answer.
Reagan: Yeah, well a lot of people think you should wear a dress.
Carter: But I just won the Nobel Peace Prize!
Reagan: They should call it the "No-Balls" peace prize.

The Conan show did a bit on this last night too.
Sort of funny,it was the bit they do sometimes where they have the moving lips crudely superimposed on the still head shots.

Snufffulupagis did a radio show hear in the MPLS. One of the biggest here. He was a real ass and hung up on them.
They are owned by Disney, And he still had no respect.

What a great show! Thanks for the post. SNL's been doing it since 1975. Sometimes not funny. Tonight, very good! Thanks.
