we should be welcoming them with open arms ----- I hope and I am sure we are -- that will encourage more of them to surrender, if they see that soldiers who surrender early are not harmed and treated well, and when the war is over can go back home to rebuild. My son should have just touched down there with his group from the 101st. His mother & I are a triffle skittish at the moment.American prayers are with your son, you, and your wife. Congratulations on raising such a son. He and the other warriors like him represent the best of what is America.

The cannon foder that SH puts on the front line are ill equipped (last time most were wearing street shoes in the desert), poorly trained, and don't want to be there. I am very happy for them and us that they got out of the way.
