I like Savage and sometimes I wonder why. His style is so, let's say, ungenteel. I've decided it's the times: Savage gives voice to the rage felt by Americans truly angry about September 11 and what we and future generations have had taken from us by leftists and cultural anarchists.
Like Perot's popularity captured a mood of frustration at his peak, Savage is the right man for the times. Three years ago he'd not have been popular and I expect his moment in the sun to fade once there's justice served for the September 11 attacks and people believe America is back on a strong moral footing.
Savage is a throw back to the times he longs for. He represents America during the "kick a$$" era. When men were men and they didn't get pierce their face and act like a bunch of queers. I often feel his pain and wish I was born in an earlier era. Unfortunately for me, I'm only 26. I understand what true freedoms we were supposed to have even less.
