Alright, I will admit...
Savage has in the past gone with the occasional depressing screed that gave me the impression that he was whining like a big old dog.
But he is always entertaining and definitely can be classified as "BETTER THAN DONEAPHEW"
A step forward for MSNBC yes?

Remember how Drudge's TV show ended...I am cautiously pessimistic that the same will happen to 'our man Savage'...(ie, the PC zeitgeist will prevail...), and Drudge was tame compared to Savage.

He decided to take a pen-name (radio-name) to distinguish this from his writing career. I love his herb books.
It is hard to believe that he wrote them. :)

Well said. Savage is my passion 15hrs per week. Hope his television is as good as his radio.

How dare you call me an anti-semite -- your as classless as Savage.

I hated to see Drudge call it quits. He gave up the great opportunity for reaching the public for a "picture" he wanted to show.
Seems to me he "pulled his own plug" and a great loss it was.
Maybe there was more to the story.

Pres. Bush doesn't do somber well in my opinion.I have to disagree. His remarks in the Cathedral on Sept. 14, 2001 mark my favorite speech by him to date. I rank the others high, but that is #1. And it certainly was somber.
Since this is a Savage thread I'll just say I've tried to listen and can't stand it. Not dismissing those who are fans. It's due to freeper comments I've given him several shots, but he is not my cup of tea.
Out of curiosity and since I am home with tv handy, I will check out the show, though.

As I said earlier, my husband and I listen to him every nite and am awaiting his TV show in 3 minutes. But that does not change what I think about him. Enjoy the show!

Well, THIS should be interesting. I've never heard Savage before. He's not on any of the stations here in Charlottesville. The lesbians have succeeded in taking Dr. Laura off around here; other elements lobbied successfully to get Liddy banned; Dave Matthews-peacenik-commies from the Univ. of Virginia have gotten the town counsel to vote for one of those stupid anti-war zones for the town.
Many FReepers have raved about his radio show but I realize that, like Rush, the TV may alter the impact and/or change the effect. Well, here goes............................

Maybe there was more to the story. He wanted to show the picture of a baby that was operated on while still in his mother's womb. They seemed to think he would go off on anti-abortion.
Odd, a few days later they had a special about it.

Michael Savage is the only man on the air in America that gets it.So you've had the opportunity to listen to EVERY man on the air in America?
Please, the sweeping statements such as this do not further your cause.
