I believe you are mistaken.....Rush's show was most certainly a success. Banished to unbelieveable time slots by the "Unbiased Media" programmers...his show succeeded.

I believe Rush...realized something my dad used to tell me.."Son, you can always get more money, but you can never get more time". Wise words.......Rush's T.V. show took too much of his time...and in the time slots that he was in....didn't come close to reaching the audiences that his radio show does.

It's a handful of the usual suspects, showing up here for a bit of payback. They don't like Savage, because he's been critical of GWB in the past, so they use this opportunity to run down his efforts today- in the full knowledge, that his producers will log onto FR to check the Savage live thread. I loved the show. After our rally about 12 of us decended upon Happy Days Diner for some hot sandwiches and coffee, and to watch their big screen TVs! It was a perfect day and we loved the show.

Howlin, I read right through the thread, and it's plain as day that most of the posters critiquing Savage disliked him before the show even went to air. And you don't need to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out why.

My views are, (whether you're male OR female) if you want to run down high profile on air conservatives (who are on our side!) in a bitchy and snippy manner, then don't be surprised if you take some flak for that. It is bloody pathetic the way Savage, Hannity, Drudge, Rush etc etc constantly get backstabbed on FR. This place should be an oasis of support for them.

Yes, I am dismayed sometimes when people who also "love" this President are unable to see that he might not be totally perfect. Are there never two opinions that might arrive at the same result?

Savage is a person who can be helpful in getting information to people who would never hear it except in his controversial, sometimes caustic method.

Campaign Finance reform requires media exposure to fill in the days when no ads can be purchased close to elections. Do we want to turn over free speech by the press to the new Democratic radio station?

Am I the only one worried about this in the next election cycle?

I always worry about each and every election cycle. Nothing is guaranteed except that the 'Rats will always lie and smear their opponent like the bullies they are. CFR will only further inhibit our message unless the Supreme Court does their sworn duty and knock this bad law out.
