You know, I have never heard this guy before, but on an MSNBC show they were interviewing Savage, they asked him what he thought of the US going to war with Iraq. And I was shocked to hear him say he was totally against it! I for one will not tune in to hear him spew anti-war crap! After all the raves he has gotten here, I thought he was a true patriot...how sad :( It's normal to incorrectly classify Savage when you haven't heard him enough. For starters, you must have misunderstood what he said. He is very much for bombing Iraq. Very much so. Keep listening to his radio program and you'll love the guy. He's the real deal.

like Savage and sometimes I wonder why. His style is so, let's say, ungenteel. I've decided it's the timesSavage is a throw back to the times he longs for. He represents America during the "kick a$$" era. When men were men and they didn't get pierce their face and act like a bunch of queers. I often feel his pain and wish I was born in an earlier era. Unfortunately for me, I'm only 26. I understand what true freedoms we were supposed to have even less.

Actually, I would have liked to see more passion the other night from our President. I think we should already be at war. We must protect our country. I agree and so does MS. I also agree that GWB deliberately toned down his demeanor to appear less of a cowboy to world. Probably advised to do so.

"It's always a shame to see a stunning 33 year old college student who doesn't know how to write and views it as not a problem."
There is a difference between giving advice and being downright rude. Some people post without using proper punctiation. SO WHAT! The fact that felt the need to admonish her for that makes you a very little man in my eyes. Please don't do it again and LET IT GO.

Actually, I would have liked to see more passion the other night from our President. I think we should already be at war. We must protect our country. We should have already been at war, if we were truly prepared. It's difficult for me to assess the real damage Clinton did to our military. I wonder when we were really capable. I'm sick and tired of dealing with the U.N. It's time we REMOVE ourselves and let the world know that our sovereignty is more important. Unfortunately, the RDDB's in the school are busy teaching us young'ins that the U.N. is the supreme voice of the world. The parents better wake up and save their mush-brain children.

Savage is fast on his feet -- appropriate he should stand. It was great! The spamking new black leather jacket does look like vinyl imitation given the lighting. Maybe an older, more weathered jacket?
The lighting needs work -- and why doesn't he have a camera at a 3/4 profile angle, as well as face on? The direction wrt to cutting the video clips seemed great, and so does his hand gestures amd facial expressions for emphasis and to focus in on his themes. Cutting off the callers works better on the radio for Savage, better than it doe son TV -- phone and caller management seemed chpopy, but Savage is fierce at keeping on point. The table top could be narrower and the background right behind him maybe could be better.
The microphone -- since that's right there in all the shots, maybe something could be made of it -- it looks like something pulled off the USS Missouri.-- battlleship grey and plain.

Just to clarify the Drudge point...
He wanted to show the baby's hand reaching out of the womb to grasp the DR. during surgery. The Network was afraid that Drudge would make a point of the baby being within the developmentally acceptable age for an abortion.
Drudge is very Pro-Life and they were afraid....
He would not accept censorship and IMHO overreacted and walked out. Once he left them with no show that night, there was no turning back.
We all lost out in the situation! A very effective way of reaching a larger audience with a conservative message was ended.

So Fox exercised editorial control and Drudge had a hissy fit. They haven't asked him back. They have so many strong shows now, they don't really need him. I listen to Drudge on Sunday night but usually fall asleep halfway through. I like him but he's another who goes off on tangents - that's when I fall asleep. HE DESPISES HOLLYWOOD, CA.

Thank you very much for the links. I will research this further. Michael Savage has been trumpeting the Sedition Act for the last few months non stop. It appears as though he will have alot of egg on his face when he discovers it has been repealed. I'm sure his loyal opposition will not let it go quietly and neither will the "willing accomplices in the media." I am not educated in law and was hoping you were wrong but the more I read on this, the more I believe you are correct.

Michael did a nice job for his first show....see him in three weeks and he'll be rolling, and he through us a bouqet: "....Hillary and Schumer and the liberal cabal..."

Funny you would fall asleep...
I have to turn the lights on and sit up in bed to make it past the first commercial. Too bad, I remember really enjoying every minute of the early broadcasts.
Dare I admit sometimes I get distracted and "Tune out" Rush too? I have his 24/7 and sometimes have to catch up on the missed hour!
I guess you can OD on news!

Actually, Rush's TV show was Number ONE in it's time slot...too bad they put him on at mindnite or 1am...he actually stopped doing the show because it took hours and hours of show prep and was beginning to affect his Radio show prep...he was simply fatigued. Rush's show was fantastic, and hillarious. He also had excellent audience interaction. I still miss that show. It was a crime that it was shoved into the wee hours.
