I said during the early months of the Bush Administration that he was going to try to right the character of our nation. The lesson we are currently learning is PATIENCE.

He has repeatedly told us he is patient and that we are also. (I have my doubts about that, sometimes.) However, I just heard a commentator on Fox discussing the munitions they would use. Apparently each bomb will be targeted to an appropriate site, and accurate within a few feet. They have been getting the coordinates for all of the munitions these last few months, besides moving troops.

I also think that however much our nerves are on edge, it is obvious that those in the Middle East are in far worse shape. This is a good thing.

And so, we will see what happens over the next few days. I think there will be some surprises. Did you ever think Jack Straw would be slapping down the French ambassador in the Security Council, and GET APPLAUSE?

Interesting times, Ivan.

No, and I never thought I would see the Frenchy visibly agitated and actually glowing with sweat on his forehead in the interviews later.

I was laughing so hard.

It has been amazing, MM. I'm turning into a rabid fan of a pair of British Laborites. This sitzkreig is certainly revealing true character.

You know Miss Marple, you bring up an excellent point.

If we who are aiming the weapons are antsy at this point, imagine how the targets feel.

I trust President Bush to act when he feels the time is right. There are more considerations than we know or want to know. That's why he gets the big bucks.

Great Post, Sir Ivan.

Steyn nailed this article. I think we are down to 'days, not weeks' now. The next ~10-14 days will be interesting, I agree !
