Yes, I think you are right.
I hope Powell has tapes showing Blix was bugged when he was in Baghdad. Even better if it shows him being threatened or taking bribes.

I agree. It is amazing how the left (and certain people who post here) didn't understand what that was.
And as an added benefit, Helen Thomas was snubbed in prime time!

Just a reminder to everyone... Colin Powell follows the Blix report. CSpan is offering that up as two separate links.

The reason why "Old Europe" calls him a cowboy was demonstrated last night. He has none of the diplomatic artifice that has been a part of their culture for the past 1000 years. He means what he says and they don't know how to handle that. He's a cowboy b/c he doesn't play by their entrenched rules. I love it!!!

And as an added benefit, Helen Thomas was snubbed in prime time!First thing I saw this morning on FR, after seeing uncertainty last night if she was even there. It made my day to see that.

What are you looking for? Counter-arguments on the war? There are several vanity posts like that here.

I hope everybody remembers how last time Blix spoke we were prepped by the media that his report would be "mixed" giving both sides ammunition when actually we were set up for a full monty, Blix on-his-knees-pickle-smooch of Saddam and the French, German, and Russian UN ambassadors. I fear for the utter worst from his report and the coordinated "peace drive" of the securos.

"Colin Powell follows the Blix report."
I am going to get nothing done today, nothing!

...and don't forget he pretty much said Powell was lying last time. Today is going to be a complete waste of time.

Neither am I...

Is Friday the day he sucks up to us or is Friday the day he sucks up to the Froggies and Saddam (Iraq is making much progress)???
I can't wait until the war starts and ElBaredie (Muslim Arab stooge) and Blix (Kofi's stooge) are shown to be liars and enablers of Saddam Hussein and his weapons of mass destruction.

HOWEVER, his report has been leaked and we know full well what is in it. If Powell is ready with an immediate rebuttal, that means that Blix is not going to get away with sugar coating everything.
I'll bet Blix is sweating bullets.

Feels like "Groundhog Day", doesn't it?

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
Hans Blix Report to the UN Security Council has been cancelled for today.
It seems MR. Blix has not been able to find the UN Building!

Interesting guest yesterday on Fox's show with John Gibson. A guy from Sweden (deputy foreign minister, retired, I think) has known Blix for 40 years. He said that Blix was the absolutely wrong person for the job. Among other things he said that he "lacked imagination" and was "easily manipulated." He said some other bad stuff about him , but those were the two things I remember.
Seemed odd to me that after all these months this guy was found. Methinks that the administration is playing hardball.
