His disappointment is evident, and I'll bet the poor man is having a difficult time sleeping, with all that is on his shoulders and mind. When my father spoke quietly to me, I knew I needed to listen up. And when, on the rare occasion, I heard his deflated tone of parental disappointment, Lord help me in the next several hours.
