Ok..nice seeing you. He's been playing the UN and the DemonRats like a harp...the more they bleat and whine, the more pitiful they look...

I prefer he save his fire for the actual waging of war.

His energy has to be meted out carefully.

Because they still think we ought to hold hands and sing Kumbaya with SH. As if we should treat SH like a disobedient child: No corporal punishment, just time-outs ad nauseum.

BTW, Dubya is handling the questions quite well.

Yes, he is. Jim Angle wants to know why the demonstrators see the U.S. as a threat to peace instead of seeing Saddam as one.

Helen Thomas is still dead. That never stopped her from asking questions before.

Surely you wouldn't prefer podium banging, finger pointing or fake tears?

Conviction carries itself in language. Bush's speeches are full of modulation and variation.

This press conference is kinda sleepy.

**This speech isn't to us; it's to them.**

Good Point.

My kids were always more scared when I spoke quietly than when I yelled. Ain't that the truth! His disappointment is evident, and I'll bet the poor man is having a difficult time sleeping, with all that is on his shoulders and mind. When my father spoke quietly to me, I knew I needed to listen up. And when, on the rare occasion, I heard his deflated tone of parental disappointment, Lord help me in the next several hours.

Careful, even we supporters of the president are apparently not permitted to criticize anything about him here.

"My job is to protect the American people."

Jim Angle -- Why do you think so many people around the world take a different opinion of the threat of Saddam?

Free speech stands in stark contrast to Iraq! (Pres Bush)

Protests against trade, don't like free trade, didn't change my opinion about trade.

People don't like war, I don't like War. Wish Saddam "HAD" listened to the world and disarmed!

I am losing respect for him every day he keeps talking with no action.

Working with the "international community" takes time. This time is necessary to try and get the UN to get their heads out of their (clintons) and choose to be on the right side. I am not happy about the wait myself, but I see why it is necessary. Once this begins, I would like to see us pull out of the UN, evict them from our soil, and stop all funding to that useless bunch of do-nothings.

>>>God I miss President Reagan......

So do I.

But President Bush is doing a good job and Ronald Reagan would be proud of the solid leadership this man is giving the American people, at this critical time in our history.

Believe it!
