"GWB Looks of Death "
Heheheh. Sometimes that is the best part!
Well, the family room is not that far away, so if I turn on a radio, especially while my husband is sitting out there, I will probably here about it. I AM going to figure out a way to get a small TV in here for during the day, though. Right now in order to comment on hearings or something I have to turn our TV up REAL LOUD and the dog goes and hides. Ha!

O'Reilly's probably sulking because his wonderful self is being wiped off the air by the mere President of the United States.While I sometimes listen to his radio show he is a bit taken with himself, isnt he?

O'Reilly's probably sulking because his wonderful self is being wiped off the air by the mere President of the United States. LOL! Since this is being billed as the President answering questions regarding the war, O'Reilly will probably announce that he is glad that President Bush finally took his advice and stopped keeping these things secret from the American people.

The main purpose of tomight, I think is to get on record before Blix goes to UN tomorrow and lay out exactly how the UN is to proceed if they are going to be invited to play with us any more.
My prediction re what Bush will say:
1) Point out again that Saddam has not and will not disarm and we are going to disarm him;
2) Make the case to the UN Security Council that they are voting for their very existence as a relevant body with the Second Resolution; This is the endgame for the UN and he needs to throw down the gauntlet to them. I believe that he will give the UN an ultimatum perhaps Monday or Tuesday to vote on the Draft Resolution (This is the main reason for this speech tonight);
3) Tell us about KSM capture and how we are winning against AQ-- update on Osama either confirmed DEAD, or we are smoking him out.
4) Defend Estrada, and complain about the sad behavior ot the Democrats in filibustering him. Hammer home the point that they have not asked any questions when given the opportunity;
That's my prediction. Or, are there any loud booming noises being reported from Iraq yet?/ RobFromGa

Has anyone else noticed that FR's "bumping" feature hasn't been working for the past hour or so?

Yeah, I have been wavering on my prediction, but then I asked myself, why a press conference and not a speech? Why would he want to deal with questions that could potentially be distracting and most likely will be attempts to make him look bad or trap him? The networks would never give him time to do an Estrada speech, and he can't ask for time for a war speech and then veer off into judicial politics. He'd be scorched for misusing the East Room(or wherever it is at) and misleading the press. But a press conference allows for the subject to be introduced ostensibly without Bush desiring for it to come up. Thus a press conference gives him cover. So I bet a Fox or independent/conservative reporter is called on and asks such a question.

Wow, for once I'm home for a live thread. Of course, I don't have a tv in the same room as the computer, but the thrill of being here for a few minutes in your company is heady, lol. Thanks for keeping me on your ping list.
