In a way FNC does a favor by having Mr. Monkey Business on the air. It disabuses any and all of the idea that he would be a great presidential candidate, let alone president.

We bad! ;^D

I guess I missed that moment - I agree - don't think Kennedy as single coherent thoughts anymore, let alone the ability to string several together in a row. Good object lesson in how not to live one's life.

Yes -- "John Doe #2" -- the one whose sketch looked remarkably similar to that Padilla guy who was arrested last year.

This is pretty lose connection. None of the hijakers were Iraqis - most were Saudis. If getting your leg fixed in Iraq gives grounds for invading Iraq, then coming from Saudi Arabia gives grounds for invading that country. Why aren't we starting with Saudi Arabia? (sarcasm).
I'm sorry I don't share the war-lust of so many on this board. It doesn't mean I don't despise Saddam. I despise him, I despise Castro, I despise the Chinese tyrants, I despise Mugabe - - but I plead guilty to not being excited about going to war against any of them if it's not absolutely necessary. And it hasn't been explained to me why warring on Saddam is absolutely necessary for our security. If containment will work against N Korea (as Bush says it will), then I'd like to see it tried in the Mid East. If being skeptical about preemptive war reads me out of the conservative movement, then I guess Bush is no conservative because he doesn't favor preemptive war against any other tyrant, including N Korea which is vocally threatening us today, and even buzzed a US plane this weekedn.

You keep wanting to talk about apples while we are discussing oranges.

The American people elect a Republican President, Republican Congress...yet the minority Senators can prevent the elected President from appointing his own judges (AP does DNC PR) while even FoxNews gives the Democrats equal time to opine. Why do Democrats get equal time? Did Republicans get equal time on the radio during WWII? Whine over.

The last thing American citizens want to hear is that Iraq has been carrying out low-grade guerrilla warfare inside the United States since 1993."
I'll have to add... since 1991. 3 in one state that I know of.

Right, it's 3 card Monte, or one of those shell games, where they keep shuffling the cards or the shells to make you lose track of the one you're supposed to be looking at. And the way that 3 card Monte is played on the street, there is always a shill in the audience who appears to be winning but is in cahoots with the guy running the game. To hear communists calling for a "get tough" attitude on NK - well I for one am not buying it.
To: Michael Sidiropoulos
I feel the same way. Beside the fact that I have faith in him, what other choice do we have? (Other than come on threads like this and make trouble? :-)

Which one are you referring to in 1991?

There is not a leftwinger around that would support doing anything about N Korea now or in the future. These cowards are merely trying to distract Bush and the nation. When the time comes to deal with N Korea, this same group will be caterwauling in protest.
