"One last question, Mr. Bush. Why are you planning on turning Iraq into a glowing nuclear wasteland? Mr. Bush?"
To: Howlin
Stratfor, who has been very complimentary of how the administration has been playing the Iraq situation, has started to turn. What is the point of pursuing diplomacy when it is probably futile. We're getting to the point where the military risks are increasing. Why bother with the UN if it increases the risk to the military? Obviously, we're going in. Could someone please explain the point of waiting?
Either this administration is trying to act confused, or they are truly confused.
To: Howlin
It's quite surreal. Must be girly men. :-)The shields left Iraq with their tails between their legs and ended up here. Go figure!

I wonder if the Dems are demanding a "rebuttal" to the NEWS conference?

two points: Saddam means terror. And US will do everything it can to prevent loss of civilian life.
CNN talking head interpretation after the speech.

Brit Hume must have been lurking during the press conference. He asked the question: "how do you think the people who haven't been following this closely will react to this."...A very point made on this tread!

As I have said before, he is the only politician I like more after voting for him than before.Absolutely the most profound comment I've seen, and agree with, in a long time! Definitely a candidate for quote of the day.

God Bless You Mr. President.
We all pray for you and we lift you up.

Jim Angle, White House correspondent for Fox News Channel WAS called on early in the press conference. Had a good question, too.

God Bless President Bush. He has the weight of the world on his shoulders, and it is showing in his face.
There was certainly no twinkle in his eyes tonight.

Ok, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not even READING the BS that apparently is floating through this thread.
All I can tell my fellow Freepers is that we are SO fortunate to have GWB as our President. He is not budging, he is committed to protecting US, the USA, he's not taking any crap from ANY liberal reporters and he is not shy about pronouncing his faith about God, about his country and his people.
Thank GOD for GWB. Need I say more?!?!
