Nothing on the wires yet, but about 20 minutes ago, they announced protestors, one in particular got rowdy, police, FBI, closed the Capitol, so no one can get in or out. Some guy was freaking and ducttaped himself. Thats all they said.

First he decapitated himself, then he recapitated himself using duct tape.

Wearing long white robes and covering himselft with duct tape.
Oh, I get it. Seems to me it could have been an Islamic suicide bomber.
I bet D.C. knows more about the threats than they are telling us.
To: MinuteGal
Yikes me too for a second there.

Useful idiot alert.
To: JustPiper
Was the guy freaking the same fool that is suing HLS for duct taping his privates?
To: JustPiper
It was just a guy in white robes and a roll of duct tape. Nothing to see here!
To: arkady_renko
Where is she - has anyone seen her since the arrest!?

Steven J. Bosell, the owner of B & B Construction in Corona, California, has filed a lawsuit claiming emotional distress, personal injury and sexual dysfunction after he wrapped his "privates" in duct tape to protect them from a biological attack. I honestly thought this was from "The Onion." These liberals manage to provide some good levity in these dark times. :)

I wonder if that is some kind of Arabian / Islamic variant of a T-shirt? Whatever it is, it would not put most wearers to advantage. < gack >

Would have been nice if you had included the word Building in title. Capitol denotes the physical building.
Capital denotes finances (also, top of architectural column, upper case letters, death sentence, chief seat of importance, etc.)

No, but I once had to remove a big piece of tape from someone else's hair. Long story.

How in blazes does one apply vegetable oil to the sticky side of the duct tape after said tape has been applied?? 8~) Very patiently, I guess. If it's stuck all the way down, with not even one loose corner, attack from the edges and don't skimp on the oil. Eventually the oil disperses underneath across the adhesive layer so you can lift away a little, put down more oil, wait, lift away a little more tape, etc.
This is the type of advice that won't make sense until you're trying to get a piece a tape of of someone's scalp.

Is that why Ridge said to buy duct tape? Very confusing. I'm glad he found a use for it, I used mine to fix a futon.

Wouldn't you think if the crooked SOBs had wanted the day off so bad, they'd have come up with something a bit more creative? HA!--I have obviously poisoned your mind with my jaundiced opinion of the federal system, based on my own sorry experience as a federal employee.
However, from my viewpoint, everyday the federal government is shut down is a win for us. I will never forget Rush's intro a while back when Congress was out of session--"Day number X--America set free!"

Thank you for finding this and if I did say the Capitol "Building" was closed down as someone suggested, I would have been erroneous.

After the very stressful recent times here, I think Freepers provided that, just with what went on at the Capitol today ;)
