Agree, FR is the best. But I keep news on exclusively during the day. Would MUCH rather have Fox News on than MSNBC or CNN.

Here's my fantasy...they catch Bin Laden, and have live tribunals during election season.

They keep talking about "lifetime appointments"

These same jerks are "lifetime candidates"

When have they ever worked in the private sector? Not one of them!

I'm not overly patient. If the precedent is set that you don't even have to expend energy to force every vote to be a supermajority, that bodes very ill. You may say that the Pubbies could do the same thing, but they won't. It will become a uniquely-DemonRATic tactic.

Lott would have made some sort of power sharing deal where each party would get a candidate threw or something.

No; he would have ensured that Estrada and anyone else that D'Asshole and Hitlery didn't want as judge wouldn't make it for even a cloture vote.

I read ONE article in my local (Florida) newspaper that Graham's surgery had been a lot more serious than he had let on...and more serious than Mitch McConnell's.
Graham does not want any media focus on his health...this punt of his today is a huge mistake, in more ways than one!

But I keep news on exclusively during the day. Would MUCH rather have Fox News on than MSNBC or CNN.

I'm glad I don't have to make that choice. Channel surfing for me. Fox gets the most time, and with the Estrada affair, CSPAN2. But sometimes MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, or even local news is better than watching whatever Fox has on. Especially when it's a car chase, or a dog on the ice, or . . .

Radio is good too.

The bad old days? Ha! There are people here right now who hope the GOP fails. Their idea is that if we fail, we'll turn to them for their ideas. Not going to happen.

Some people never comprehend the nuances of politics.

I have the same feeling on Snow that you do and like you I am not sure why.

I never listened to him when he was on Rush! And very seldom watch his Sunday show!

Must be his political health? If the man cannot make up his mind on this -- who would want him for Pres?

Going a bit off-topic here; did anyone else notice that C-SPAN2 went to funeral music when the cloture vote failed?

They have no experience in it, and would rather get information from other sources.

I say Viva Los Republicanos ; )

You should try Snow's Sunday show. Hume is unleashed on it, often serves as the second questioner of guests and is on the final panel. Snow's show is worth the watch just because it's more Hume:)

Thanks for sharing. At least this time I understood he was not taking a stand. His tax cut email in 2001 left me with "What did he say?" Mr. wishy washy does not deserve to run for President or be in the Senate IMHO!

("uva uvam videndo varia fit")

That slogan is easier to interpret that Graham's e-mail to you. He stands strongly in favor of the Estrada issue, but whether he supports Estrada or opposes him is left up to the mind of the reader.

BTW, the closest interpretation to the sign slogan is , "individuals tend to take on the characteristics of those around them."---maybe a good argument for term limits.
