I heard the very first response, an aye, and nothing after that. What suspense!

I'm a New Yorker too. I sent Hillary and Chuckie e-mails about Estrada. Hillary actually replied saying that she couldn't support Estrada's nomination. Duh! I wasn't asking for (or expecting) her support. Just let the Senate vote!
Isn't it ironic that during Hillary's listening campaign she refused to address voters' questions about her core beliefs? Could it be that she is a (gasp) ideologue? I just thought she wanted to bring jobs to upstate NY!

Guess I was wrong.
Hollings voted no. He was one who was thought might vote aye.
To: Howlin
Well I heard McConnell voted in the affirmative so I guess that answers the questions as to whether he is back or not. Hope he is feeling well!

Fox is having trouble with too much news. I have a mental image of literally continuous "ding- Fox News alert . . . ding- Fox News alert" Total meltdown, in place of the partial one they have now.
This vote will be protrcted. Only a handful of Senators present first time roll was taken. The usual suspects voting in the negative. Cantwell just voted no, Durbin, Hollings, Cole, Reid, Stabenow, Schumer are NO votes, so far.
