...Kennedy also said Bush failed to garner the "support of our people" in his rush to war... Forget opinion polls, Splash doesn't seem to remember that the American people spoke through their Constitutional representatives last Fall when congress authorized the President to use force, if necessary, to disarm Saddam.
Second, US policy toward Iraq has been well known and clear for months. Disarm, or we will disarm you. Splash seems to be stuck in a 90's time warp when words spoken by the White House had no meaning.
Last, the RATS only use Splash as their spokesdrunk when all other tactics are exhausted and polls indicate the obstruction de jour has no traction with the American people outside coffee shops in Boston and Berkeley. This is just the RATS final Hail MaryJo.
