I heard a funny piece done by Jimmie Kimmel (I think...) where he said, "Wouldn't it have saved a lot of lives if Dan Rather had just whacked Sadamm during the interview?".........

Rather has always been full of BS. In his book he claims he was the Sunday morning disk jockey who went to breakfast at the local diner as the church transcription record played at the unmanned station.
Supposedly the preacher said, "If you do not follow the Ways of the Lord, you will go to Hell," and then the record skipped, so for 20 minutes all the listeners heard was "..... go to Hell, (skip) ...go to Hell, (skip).....go to Hell."
Nice try Dan, but that is a radio urban legend that has been around since the 30s, and you claim it as yours in your book!

I was hoping against hope that as Dan Rather shook hands with the Evil One (not ex42) that he may have implanted a microscopic tracking device.....but given Rather would "rather" support evil than a conservative president, that hope faded to reality.....
