NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Military sources say as many as four North Korean MiGs intercepted a U.S. reconnaissance plane over international waters during the weekend, MSNBC reported Monday.
According to the sources, the MiGs came within 500 feet of the U.S. RC-135 plane but didn't act aggressively, MSNBC said.
The network said the incident - the first such intercept since 1969 - happened in international air space over the Korean peninsula.

There is nothing running in either the Japanese or Korean language press (I read both) or tickers about such a 'shoot down'. If it did occur, it would show up there in Japanese or Korean LONNNNG before Fox or other slowpokes in the US would get it.

we toss them some money, and they feel good about themselves. Actually, we toss them some money, and they spend it on their WMD program. I have no problem with sending over some food (as long as it goes to the general populace, not the military), but this exortion game has to stop.

Korea and Iraq are in bed togetherI suggest that China and Russia are encouraging the little nut behind the wheel in North Korea.
Like many others on this forum I expect this idoit will rachet up his activities over the next 30 days until some American blood is shed.

Any clear minded person would see that North Korea is the grater threat at the moment. I say deal with them first then move onto Iraq, and be ready to fight both at the same time.

You must be referring to Wong Wei Kor Gan, I think.

It was a mistake. FOX made the mistake! Are you sure it was a mistake and not FOX NEWS attempting to create a War as was done by Hurst?

Hard to get a real WMD program going when most of your country lacks regular electricity. I know they're trying but I really don't feel threatened by their weapons programs. I don't have a problem with the extortion game with NK, it's just oriental pride, they can't just tell us they really need money, they can't take pity money they need to earn it. It's either rattle a rusty sabre every few years or invite the press in to see the massive starvation and poverty that "America is ignoring". At least there's entertainment value in the rattle.

Fox would not post this by accident. Someone has to collect the info, send it to an editor, then to someone else to type it onto the screen. A lot of errors would have to occur in the chain of command. If it was a mistake, heads should roll.

With the North Koreans offer Saddam Hussein political asylum over the weekend, it's clearer that the Axis of Evil is indeed an interconnected entity. Anyone else notice that the North Koreans started getting crazy about the time that the US build-up against Saddam started? My theory is that NK is doing all of these nutsy things in order to distract us from Saddam, undoubtedly one of North Korea's valued arms customers.

"Or if it was up to me. But I'm no diplomat. I was just suggesting the duality of the situation. It is a rather interesting situation we find ourselves in. One war at a time if we can help it. Then we can shoe the little bastard in the ass. That is, if he don't force a shooting conflict on us before we are ready."
LOL - I'm not (obviously) a diplomat either. IMHO - we can't consider dealing with North Korea without considering China as well.

And Bush is moving chess pieces:
12 B-1Bs, 12 B-52H, Nimitz.
He knows he's playing against the axis of evil.
And too smart to indicate they're the puppets of the anus of evil (China).
Or, "Chiner", rhymes with "clymer".

CNN Not reporting shoot down therefore, either CNN is asleep at the wheel or FOX News is incompetent.
