I hope and pray that MSNBC pulls the plug on his show. Then FNC signs him to replace reGreta in the 10 p.m. slot. It would be poetic justice.

The best way I can describe him is a "bombastic patriot"
His message is borders, culture, language.
My point earlier was it does not matter whether you like him or not but groups like GLAAD are hypocritical. There is no toleance on their side, they hate very conservative people, they managed to get rid of Dr. Laura for the same reason.

It is a FACT that the average age of death for gay men is years lower than for heterosexuals. Like it or not.
To: Emmylou
Savage has bigger fish to fry than gays and lesbians. He's not really interested in questioning the lifestyle, a la Dr. Laura. But if homosexuals have a problem with him defending the Boy Scouts, they will take issue with him.

You're right, of course -- the intolerance of Savage's distractors is palpable. As I recall, on Friday he credited his support of the Boy Scouts for instigating the present attacks against him, and proceeded to reaffirm his support of the Boy Scouts.

distractors = detractors : )

Perhaps you can explain how a sub-group which has huge numbers of it dying at a young age from AIDS could not have a lower than average age of death.
From the data I have seen the difference is around 15 yrs. not some obviously false figure like 40 yrs at death. It is easy to debunk a figure not germaine to the argument and ignore the one which is.
Let me guess who "debunked" this? GLAAD or its ilk.

"I've never heard Mr. Savage. Can anyone enlighten me on why these charges are being leveled against him? I assume he's conservative, but racist, sexist and homophobic? How pray tell?" The charges are leveled against him because he is passionate about what he discusses. And the gays don't like opposing viewpoints that aren't meek and tepid responses, easily dismissed. His passion is what I like about him, and it is also scary in that it could be his undoing in a TV broadcast. You have got to listen to him on a repeat basis in order to understand that he is fair and tries to be balanced. He more or less says that what gays do is okay, as long as they aren't shoving it down our throats against our will. If that's homophobic, then a lot of us are too, but that's no reason to be denied the opportunity to speak out.

A gay-rights group says it plans to meet with NBC chairman Robert Wright this week in a last-minute attempt to head off Saturday's TV debut of controversial radio talk show host Michael Savage. Of course they will, they just dont want it to get out that their pathology is really a behavioral defect and that it's changeable. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Even if you think Savage is a blowhard, I hope you still support Savage
Savage is the biggest blowhard since Joe Pyne, but I love him!
Not only will I be watching him on MSNBC, I sent them an email thanking them for giving us a true American on their network.

While gay men make up more than half the AIDS casesTry nearly ALL for homo v. hetero with homo skyrocketing and hetero stable.
only a small percentage of gay men -- i.e., promiscuous, bath-house types -- actually have contracted HIV.
Thats the unprovable statistic, what credible study says that? The bottom line is you cant refute justshutupandtakeits simple logic, if a disease is overwhelmingly attributable to a small subclass a shorter life span follows.

That's putting it mildly! He is so passionate that if he posted on FR he would immediately be moved to the Smokey Back Room, if not banned altogether.
I once was threatened with banishment from the Newsmax Forum when I used a Mike Savage response to a Liberal Mod!
He'll shock you at first, but you'll see how fair and balanced he really is after listening to him for awhile.
Give him a listen, you won't be sorry you did!

Please back up your claims with refences I can see formyself. Personally, your claims are suspect. The lifespan is less. You try to debunk the claim based on the number being iffy. If you cared I would expect to see a correction instead of your GAY propaganda. Please tell us the whole story. Why are you a gay rights defender?
PS. Don't tell me you aren't. I just showed why you are. Just answer the question please.
