Interrogator: Is it safe?
Mohammad: What do you mean?
Int: Is it SAFE?
Mohammad: Is what safe?
Int: Is IT safe?
Mohammad: If you told me was you're talking about, I'd let you know if it's safe or not.
[Mohammad's teeth then get drilled down to the nerve]
Int: Is it safe?
Mohammad: Yes, it's safe. Most definitely. Extremely safe. Hard to imagine anything more safe.
[Interrogator fires up the drill again]
Mohammad: No, it's not at all safe. Very dangerous, in fact.
[more drilling, this time sticking the drill bit deep into Mohammad's gums
Int: Is it safe?

given his hirsute appearance, i think a full body wax might loosen his tongue a bit....
That's what the duct tape is for! Actually can't we use some "truth serum" to loosen him up? Even laughing gas works well - that can't be "torture"!
Mohammed: "Hah hah! Yeh 'ol Osammy is worm food - there were so many pieces we just raked some dirt over the area and left - Har Har!"

The US has invited thousands of journalists ....Perhaps Dan Rather would volunteer to participate in the torture to give us a first hand account on how effective it is.

The best way to get information is to put him in a room filled with gold and jewels. And torture devices. Ask him to choose which he prefers. If his info pans out, he gets the gold and jewels and lives happily ever after (or so he thinks). If it doesn't pan out, he gets a little taste of torture. Keep it up until he breaks.

I doubt we would say to the world he is singing like a bird alerting all Al Queda to find cover! This is probably misinformation fo rmedia consumptions.

I have a hard time believing anything ABC reports. Their "U.S. Official" is undoubtedly some left wing anti-Bush person who has a very low level position and know nothing about what is going on with the interrogations. I agree. The CIA is not known for issuing press releases on the progress of their interrogation of Al Queda leaders. This is just some made up stuff from the rumor mill.

given his hirsute appearance, i think a full body wax might loosen his tongue a bit....Then perhaps give him nothing to wear except burquas. Coupled with sleep deprivation, our guys could have him singing like a canary within a few days.

Since these terrorists hate women so much, just threaten to give him a sex change operation. I remember Atta said he never wanted women to come to his grave, especially pregnant women. Well, after they swabbed his body up with Qtips, there wasn't enough body to bury. If they hate women so much why do they want 72 of them in eternity? I mean I love my husband but I do not want 72 men with me in eternity! NO WAY JOSE!

Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, sign zee papers.
He replies, I cannot sign zee papers.
Once again, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, sign zee papers.
Once again he replies, I cannot sign zee papers. You have broken all my fingers.
That is what I would like to see in the interrogation room.

More likely, IMO, the whole account is disinformation from a leaker.

I have to agree with you. There are limits beyond which we must not even think or imagine. I worry not of the terrorists demise, but I do worry of us before they die, if we go over the limits.

Why would the government leak this? It would seem the better tactic would be to say that the computers and CDs yielded a wealth of new information.Well, I believe the FBI wants his coconspirators to believe they are safe and stay where they are. If they think he is talking, they'll be on the run and the FBI may not be able to track them down.

>Torture often elicits what the tortured thinks the torturer wants to hear.
Which is why we are still looking for Daniel Pearl's body.
To: Dialup Llama
Sean Hannity is going to discuss this torture issue on his program which is airing now.
