That is what Rush said. But what Rush didn't say is the R's have no incentive to keep reminding their base that they lost this. The temptations for R's to keep avoiding the fight is going to be too great for the R's.

Also, if the rats know there won't be a 24/7 filibuster R's have no leverage

My first post was typed as fast as I could as he spoke. No personal comment from me.

My second post on the matter, when you have accused me of spinning, clarifies that he spoke of how we heard the Republicans were standing strong, the President gave his strong statement, then the Fox story came along and contradicted that idea. Rush said the Fox story turned out to be inaccurate.

He sounds like he gets the idea now, which, if I may say, is exactly what I and others tried to explain last week.

The strategy is to keep calling the vote and keep making the dems are on record time and again voting against the first hispanic nominee to this bench. This could change, but that is the current plan.

I also heard him say that no one has declared they are in a filebuster.

This thing has me so confused. If they are not in a filebuster and can keep calling for the vote, why then would not 51 votes put Astrada on the bench?
