Well, we perked our ears up at that, didn't we. Can't say it was stunning news.

I mentioned on another thread, this morning Zell Miller was on (can't remember if it was Fox or MSNBC) and he was very strong on the Estrada nomination and that it should come to a vote. FWIW.

It should be interesting what he says since Fox news stands by their Thursday interview story with Frist and their Friday story. Not to mention the Sunday interview with Roberts where Brit Hume drilled him and did not get a good answer.

Now Hatch is reading from Estrada legal briefs, which displays his legal acumen, and he's giving the results. For instance, he just discussed a brief, but the court ruled against him. He mentions several cases where the rulings were favorable.

Obviously the point is Mr. Estrada's qualifications are an open book, as we all know. It is being put in the record.

I just called Bingaman's Santa Fe office and persisted through the menu to get a live person rather than a machine.

I told "Chris" the Senator had just spoken and not asked any questions about Estrada--even though he said he didn't have enough information.

I said it showed the Senator was a hypocrite and ill-serving 40% of the state.

I didn't ask for or stick around for any belching.

I have serious doubts if the opposition can come up with a tactic to tarnish what Hatch is putting forth. Won 10 out of 15 cases in anomous decisions.

Please don't rehash Friday again, let's just move forward in a professional manner.

I agree that the GOP needs to go 24/7. We need to force them to filibuster before we start Gulf War 2. That will break the filibuster if nothing else does.

(I'm not replying to anything else you say about Friday or Rush or the FoxNews interview on this Live thread-- it serves no purpose. Start another thread when you have new information about the big Frist Coverup.)
