Wrong.
I was on the exact same timeline. Although I was a democrat, from a democrat family, my family and I loved Reagan and I could not understand why my professors at college trashed him. The first time I was old enough to vote I voted for Klinton, thinking he was a new JFK (remember the pictures, the sax, MTV). Boy, did I feel duped. Within the first two years of Klinton's term I became another rabid Republican.
