Yep - there is nothing inherently unconstitutional about some form of national ID. Unfortunately, the most shrill whiners have made it extremely simple for illegals of all nationalities to operate here by continually resisting any means of data consolidation and coherent nationwide standards.

Please cite the section of the Constituttion that enumerates a power to the fed to issue a national ID.
