Senator Roberts said; " You can not go one on one in negotiations with North Korea, all they do is resort to rhetoric"! In response to other questions by Brit in regard to Iraq, the articulate steely eyed senator quaffed but added that he knew what Brit was inferring. This indicated that he could readily read between the lines of the question but choose not to offer a clear answer because of security concerns.

Then as the questioning by Brit continued; "Just how serious are the Republican Senators in keeping the Senate in extended session in order to force a hard filibuster"? The good Senator, chest out and bristling,  resorted to classical North Korean rhetoric to avoid a straight-forward answer. Brit continued by asking the same question in four attempts at a clear answer. The good Senator obviously ( I say obviously rather then CLEARLY) had an agenda that did not include answering the question that was being asked.

In a past candid interview long ago, Tony Snow had explained the scenario of the questioner and the questioned. The show's host would not press for a straight answer beyond three or four attempts if the politico being questioned clearly didn't want to answer. You know, like a gentlemen's  agreement.

After seeing the rallies here in Texas this weekend, I agree. There is more support than non support, at least in Texas, lol. I felt bad not being able to go to the rally in Houston even though I was there in spirit but considering how many people were there I feel okay. The message was sent this weekend. These Washington elites and numbskulls like these professors and Gore Vidal are idiots. Again they don't understand the real heart of this country that I know Bush understands.

Again thanks to all who physically showed support yesterday.

Blessings,
Brad

George S's. Liberal Sunday Morning Talk Show Maneuver.
Used in "roundtable" situations.

  1. George W. starts talking.
  2. Michele McQueen rudely interrupts him, just as he is about to make his point.
  3. Michele finishes contradicting George W. and hands the ball to George S. under the table.
  4. George S. says, "You're right, Michele. And here's why.....

Saddam won't have to reveal to the world all the financial connections France has w/Iraq. The Heritage Foundation has already done so. This one's a keeper.

Facts on Who Benefits from Keeping Saddam Hussein in Power

Did you hear Brit, that letter from Saddam to France. If you betray us, we will have to reveal to the world all the connections we have established between our two countries?

A little more info, please? I've had a fussy baby on my hands this morning and not much time for TV. Thanks!

It was Ottumwa Iowa. I'll always remember this because we had an obese guy in my boot camp unit from Ottumwa. We called him "the Ottumwa oinker"

Ferrel is sooooooo lame with his reponse that 'inspections work'. You can even hear the lack of conviction in his voice. How can he spew that crap and expect anyone to believe ANYTHING he says?

Fun to watch the destruction of the liberal left. Beautiful part is - as Rush says - the wackos appear to be the mainstream poster boys of the Dem. party.

Evil creepy smarmy professor from Columbia University on Fox and Friends now by the name of George Fletcher. Law School prof. He is chortling gleefully that Turkey's democracy worked and they stood up to us. He only wishes that our democracy worked as well.

My husband says "Arrogant, elitist, put him on the list, and how do we cut off any federal money going to Columbia?"

-----
FR is fantastic! I wrote an email to Fox&Friends to ask for that man's name. He was the most arrogant piece of nothing that I have seen in quite a while. I wanted to be sure that I could put him on my 'list' too!

But here is the answer to my question - within minutes.
Thank you, Miss Marple.

I did not get the name of the document, but it was issued by Saddam to the people of France. He stated how France and the people of Iraq shared many of the same views. Then the kicker, if you betray that trust, we will have to reveal just how close that relationship is.

Yes, Ferrel keeps saying that the previous inspections destroyed 98% of the weapons Iraq had. What a laugh! That's 98% of the ones THEY FOUND! What total of all the weapons did they destroy? Who knows? Fact is, Saddam had many, many WMD and very few of them have actually been accounted for. Farrel is playing a game of semantics. The previous inspections did not, in fact, work. Too many times they were NOT allowed to inspect certain places and constantly stymied in their efforts to do so. What was in those places? We never found out. How in good conscience can he say the previous round of inspections were successful? Once again, he's not anti-war, he's anti-Bush.

Blame Clinton he was over there last summer saying anti-American things like America won't last forever and we will go the way of the Romans, best if they get with the EU.

Remember that thread Miss Marple?

You are most welcome. I was listening while I was typing, so I assigned Mr. Marple the duty to get that jerk's name. He was happy to oblige.

New Yorkers should be aware of this guy; I bet he was one of those types that felt we deserved 9/11.
