Thanks for the link.

Maybe this French/German/Belgian position will implode the EU as well? There are obviously deep splits in the EU and this will make it very difficult for them to continue their march towards ubernational government in Brussels.

Germany has been a bit quiet lately...

It gets worse with Mathews sentimental trip into the 60's anti-war movement. He tries to defend his liberal media buddies by invoking Kronkite's public opposition to Viet Nam.

AS IF ! Your pink shorts are showing, Crissi....

My guess is Powell said to Bush he could deliver and he hasn't...

Powell has delivered an irrelevant UN, and exposed them for the impostors that they are.

Much more than we could have hoped for.

One of the panelists (Fox ?) reported that the Turkish parliament is new and inexperienced. I think he said this is their first session, in fact.

Thank you. I was thinking the same thing. Farrell seemed to get the bulk of the time slot. And I wish I hadn't erased the program (taped on Ultimate TV) as I would liked to have 'timed' this interview.

I watched the interview. He actually did say that "I wish our democracy worked as well as Turkey's".

LOLOL....This is quite amazing, considering he teaches Law at Columbia.

Seriously now, these people can have influence. They are as grave a threat to the country as our other external enemies.

The leftists continue to talk about the costs of waging war against and maintaining a presence in Iraq. What did 9/11 cost the US economy so far? I suspect much more than $100 billion when you count not only the direct costs repairing the damage, but also, the indirect costs to the travel industry (airlines, hotels, restaurants, merchants etc) as well as the increased security costs (federal, state, and private) and the stock market. Our economy (and the world's) can't afford too many 9/11 type attacks. Imagine, these guys were armed only with box cutters. What would happen if a bio or chemical attack were launched in the US?

Not that I like to quote Geraldo - but he also mentioned that many Turkish people woke up this morning with angst over the realization of what that NO vote meant to the Turkish economy. Becareful what you wish....

Interesting you mentioned that cause Russert did the same thing with Hanoi Jane. i.e. everything she did was to end the Vietnam War and she had a responsibility as an American Citizen to do it. etc. etc.

Sounds like Mathews and Russert are doing the same thing.

***Steffi was intimidated because Villepin has better hair than he does. Coiffure is everything, you know.***

Hubs pointed out that Villepin has mastered the Clintonesque ability to turn on and off his 'passion' from one question to the next.

Mike Farrell needs a hair cut. I couldn't pay attention to a word he said, as I kept trying to think of who he looks like with that ridiculous mane.

Finally, it hit me---he is looking remarkably similar to BOB from Twin Peaks.

I thought perhaps it had been taped ahead of time, but dont think they do.

Today's wasn't. At the beginning of the show, Russert mentioned that some reporter (can't remember his name) had been working all night long on LAST NIGHT'S ANNOUNCEMENT/story about the big arrest. LAST NIGHT's ANNOUNCEMENT??? I don't understand why Russert was presenting it as if it was breaking news over the night. Strange.

I just can't watch or listen to ANY of them anymore; I'm beginning to believe I'm developing a case of "tunnel hearing," is there such a thing?
