I don't remember anybody asking Bill Clinton how long he'd be in Kosovo, do you? Or how much it was going to cost, for that matter!
BUT I do remember Clinton saying the troops would be out of Bosnia by the 96 elections
NOBODY from the GOP brought it up in 96

The umbrellas, bowlers and pieces of paper should all carry the "Peace in Our Time" quoteIt may be a little cruel but you might add some of those buck teeth that you always see on Monty Python.

Yeah, the duct tape routine is a clear proof that Farrell's true opposition is to the Bush Administration, not to war. I hate these people. If they oppose the president on political grounds, why don't they just admit it, instead of wrapping themselves in pacifist rhetoric? Effing hypocrites!

Graham makes all of us in SC proud.
Wasn't Graham a pro-choice, McCain supporter?

It seems unlikely that we would know the details of private conversations between heads of state. Fun to contemplate, but almost surely untrue, especially as we're still hoping for at least an abstention from France on the pending new resolution.

Yes, they certainly do. I personally think it's high time to start enforcing it.

To: cajungirl
Saddam will never leave, but a concentration of targets is always a good thing!

I can see Saddam jumping at the chance to leave his 57 palaces to live in the People's Paradise, can't you?

Well, it sure would simplify things for us given that two of the axis of evil would be in one place!

Got to love George Will, "General Howe was not the first or the last to underestimate the staying power of the America people."

Reportedly, President Bush told Chirac in a phone call last week, "We will not forget, and we will not forgive." If anyone has a link to that, I'd like to see it. I'd love to be a fly on the wall in some of these conversations. One can imagine the pressure that is being put on these people.

Often I have wanted to be a fly on the wall,,think of the possibilities.
To: Howlin
Clinton did say ONE YEAR. But of course he lied. How many yearS has it now been?
I also remember him in front of those gawdawful, Kaki-inspired gold drapes in the oval office saying in his assumed serious voice, "You're time is up."

Reportedly, President Bush told Chirac in a phone call last week, "We will not forget, and we will not forgive." Can't wait until we make public all those documents we find in the palaces, with France's fingerprints all over it.
