....slipped quietly out of Baghdad on the long journey back to Britain, carrying most of the 11 protesters with them. Isn't this just like a bunch of Liberally toasted pantywastes, they all talk loud and fast when they are in a group of their own, but when things start to cook, they start squirming and slithering back to the pithetic little existence they call "Socialism"

“Almost all the first British "human shields" to go to Iraq were on their way home yesterday after deciding that their much-heralded task is now too dangerous.”

Pretty poor “shields”.

All the while, real American men and women, many with families and close business associates who count on their safe return, stand in harms way in order to provide these fools with their freedom to be "virtual shields" in assistance to the enemy.

Amen...I loved your post. well said.

I've been giggling about this since yesterday. On this thread.

But now that you mention it, I didn't see much of the Mock Squad yesterday; it would be a shame for them to miss out...

I wonder if that traitor who renounced his U.S. citizenship is among this group. Where does the "citizen of the world" go if he quits Iraq?

BAGHDAD — Almost all the first British "human shields" to go to Iraq were on their way home yesterday after deciding that their much-heralded task is now too dangerous.

These cowardly scumbags have no right to call themselves "human shields." They are clearly not worthy of the title. They are a disgrace to human shield everywhere.

In the Comedy of Errors, yet another Act:

Almost all the first British "human shields" to go to Iraq were on their way home yesterday after deciding that their much-heralded task is now too dangerous.

What shall be their closing act, lol?

Many shields had earlier asked to be stationed at sites such as schools, hospitals or orphanages, but Iraqi officials said

I must tell all of you the truth: I am a lurking "human shield" who unfortunately missed the bus. However, I am nevertheless trying to fullfill my obligation by shielding "Samir's Party Store" just around the corner from my house. If you wish to interview me, I am back by the beer cooler......

Shield: "I wanna be a hero and a martyr!"

Recruiter: "We can arrange that! When you arrive in Iraq, you'll be greeted as a hero!"

Shield: "Great!!"

Recruiter: "And once you're killed, you'll be honored as a martyr."

Shield: "Uh... killed?"

Recruiter: "Well, you have to die to be a martyr, you know."

Shield: "oh... yeah... right.... uhm...."

Recruiter: "So, what do you want on your tombstone?"

Shield: "Oh, uhm.... mushrooms, sausage-"

Recruiter: "No, I mean the headstone of your grave, after you become a martyr."

Shield: ".... Can we turn this bus around?"

Recruiter: "Say, that's nice, kind of poetic, a plaintive cry from beyond the grave, 'can we turn around this vehicle of war carrying the human race toward extinction!' I like it. Okay, let me put that on your application form...."

Ex-Shield: "No, I mean, really, this bus that we're in right now! Can we turn it around?? Like, toward England??"
