Please. My side is splitting.
"We always understood that human shield meant a shield of humans and that we would be allowed to work with Iraqi civilians. Why it is (sic) being interpreted differently now?"
Its all in the emphasis:
HUMAN shields (shields made of humans) vs. human SHIELDS (shields for humans).
It helps to find out the exact meaning before you leave. Ha.Ha.Ha.

This may give some insight to the McVeigh-Iraqi-OKC connection.

Its all in the emphasis: HUMAN shields (shields made of humans) vs. human SHIELDS (shields for humans).Except if you are a human, they are both pretty much the same.
Now, if you were a sentient piece of mahogany, it might be harder to understand the difference.

This is funnier than the Social-Workers-Hunt-For-NYC-Homeless story a few days ago.

It's like the Clinton regime. You simply can't make this sh!t up. No one would believe it. One of my all-time favorites quotes is by Mark Twain, and it goes, "Of course truth is stranger than fiction. Fiction, after all, has to make sense..."

Mark Twain, and it goes, "Of course truth is stranger than fiction. Fiction, after all, has to make sense..."Apt, so apt.

"Dr Hashimi has explained that we help the population more by staying in the 'strategic sites'," he explained. His friend added: "We play football in the afternoons and the Iraqis bring us cartons of cigarettes. It's just like summer camp." And just wait till you see the cool fireworks show.

Well the numbers speak for themselves. 280,000,000 Americans and only 200 "human shields." And some of those human shields aren't even Americans. That's not a very impressive showing at all for the so-called "anti-war" movement.
As war becomes more inevitable and most of these "human shields" now start to flee, the anti-war movement appears even more pathetic. It appears that practically nobody in the anti-war movement is willing to earn the title "human shield."

What a bunch of goofs! I need a daily report from the field like this about these kooks to start my day off with a laugh.
I hope they brought some Depends because when the lights go off, the air raid sirens start blaring, and the bombs start dropping they're gonna need them!
