Please. My side is splitting.

It’s all in the emphasis:
HUMAN shields (shields made of humans) vs. human SHIELDS (shields for humans).
It helps to find out the exact meaning before you leave. Ha.Ha.Ha.

Except if you are a human, they are both pretty much the same.

Now, if you were a sentient piece of mahogany, it might be harder to understand the difference.
