And so?...
To: Pokey78
From the Drudge Report, here is what it pointed out:
The alleged 'top secret' text of NSA email...
BUT WAIT: WOULD AMERICAN NSA EMPLOYEE SPELL FAVORABLE 'FAVOURABLE', RECOGNIZE 'RECOGNISE' AND EMPHASIZE 'EMPHASISE' IN A BRITISH TONGUE?...
WOULD NSA REALLY TIME STAMP EMAILS '31/01/2003 0:16' IN EUROPEAN FORMAT?...
NAME IN ALLEGED EMAIL IS 'KOZU' AND OBSERVER STORY CLAIMS TO HAVE CONTACTED A 'KOZA'?...
Its in British Tongue.

Plus the guy misspelled his own name. Is it Kuza or Kuzu??

Old finale to a fiddler's tune: "Anywhere, and I don't care; park your lady in an easy chair." Well, with the UN. anywhere and I don't care; park the fartheads somewhere over there."
To: TenthAmendmentChampion
Hats off to those that caught the spelling and usage problems, even before Drudge, who now calls it "A Smear".
All the erec*ions and mois*ness are fading fast at DU.
Doubt sets in.

The story is only three hours old and is already starting to fall apart.
The hoax is being dispelled as Drudge is inundated with emails, many from Freepers, pointing out the obvious.
Go getum Freepers!

Are we witnessing the stage being set for the next world war? Between the Middle East, North Korea, the deepening divisions between us and traditional "allies"...what comes next?
To: Pokey78
Yes, that new Patriot Act against terrorists sure comes in handy ;)
To: Texas_Jarhead
Brussels? I'd say Paris, but that place is so depraved, a lot of them would enjoy it.

This e-mail is a red herring, a fake and preposterous on its face.
Let some com-symp try to site its authenticity as "proof" of US dirty tricks and watch them get laughed out of the room.
The dupes and propagandists at the "Observer" are going to have to do better than this.

The world will believe this but can't believe for a second that Saddam has people watching the inspectors.Exactly. For the next few days, it will just possibly be accepted that this was an obvious forgery. After that, for the next 30 years, all over the internet (except here), people will be posting how it is proven that the US bugs the UN.
To: Rome2000
The DUers already have Bush impeached over this.
To: Pokey78
Well there are two Frank Koza's in the area of D.C., one in Virginia, one in Maryland. So why doesn't someone call Frank and ask him what is up with the Memo. I feel like it is a fraud.
To: Pokey78
Works for me.

I thought only the Guardian would be dumb enough to fall for this. I now reali
ze my error. The Internet is mainly a vehicle for transmitting & magnifying stupidity.
Can't wait to see what Mark Steyn has to say about this.

As you've likely heard by now, the Agency is mounting a surge particularly directed at the UN Security Council (UNSC) members (minus US and GBR of course) This phraseology is totally bogus.
Laughably so. And isn't this usage of 'surge' British? ( along with the '-ise' endings cited by another contributor ) ... not that I know anything about it, but sheesh.
"As you've likely heard by now" ... now that's funny.
Here's another secret communication I intercepted:
"Request all ops acknowledge visual acquistion under crepuscular viewing conditions of target last observed in dark phase transition. Note macroscopic striations and luminous stellations of said target intermittently visible under conditions of belligerent engagement due to transient optical emission of incendiary devices. Morale considerably enhanced. Vital to determine persistence of target emblematic of regional habitation by intrepid and unconstrained individuals. - Reply code only"
