Among the group leaving was Jar Jar Binks, who was heard to say "somebody might die?"

"Two red double-decker buses, which symbolised the hopes of anti-war activists when they arrived to a fanfare of publicity a fortnight ago, slipped quietly out of Baghdad on the long journey back to Britain. "
Here's to hoping they hit a mine on the way out and are stuck in Iraq for the duration. Prayerfully ambushed by a mob of angry Iraqi women who tear them form limb to limb.

Boy, that Saddam is one ungrateful SOB, isn't he? Imagine the gall to demand that the "shields" hang out at a post likely to be bombed!!!! And here they had likely planned on surrounding Saddam in one of his palace shelters, holding hands and singing Kumbayah....
Now then, what sort of "greeting" do you Brits have planned for the "useful idiots" when they return to GB?
To: MadIvan
Always easy to be morally superior - but it's important to make sure it's some person's and not your blood that starts flowing when crunch time arrives......
To: MadIvan
What did they not understand about what the term "Human shield" meant?
To: MadIvan
Oh man, the human shields were expected to be human shields and they got scared.
My only question is, what part of HUMAN SHIELDS did they NOT UNDERSTAND?!?!?! LOL

Send this to Brit Hume for the end of one of his programs.
This is just too, too funny. Did they think they were going to stand around a nursery school to be a human sheild?

Human shield definition: All talk no action. Your typical yellow belly liberal who's all for it until the heat gets to be too much to stand.

This situation does worry me a bit, in all honesty. Here's an interesting question... In WWII, when all the GIs returned to the states, the ensuing population explosion became the baby boom Do you thinks the Shields have been away from their villages long enough to spawn an Idiot Boom ?
That could be devastating to the balance of geo-politics.
To: MadIvan
In poker terms, these clowns tried to buy the pot by threatening to be "human shields", but they realized that America and her allies wouldn't be bluffed, and when Hussein called their bet and raised it, they quickly folded.
Man, I wish I could get some of these spineless clods in an all-night card game! By sunrise I'd be out of debt..
