I love Da Gimp!
It looks like a good program, and you can't beat the price (free!)
I use Photoshop and Fireworks, only because there may come a time when I'll have to do webdesign full time, and employers expect you to know how to use those programs.
To: Askel5
Nothing better than free AND a good program.....

Photoshop Elements lists for $99 and is a superb program with many of its big brother's features. Perfect for someone who wants to tinker without spending $500-600 for Photoshop.

Looks like the Navy's going to get some ship-to-ship target practice after all.

Can you suggest another? Gimp.
To: Mo1
if they are against a war with Iraq, then why are they sending ships in? To evacuate Saddam and his henchmen? To evacuate their own citizens who have been working with this former Soviet ally?

remember that after we had dropped two A-bombs on Japan the Russkies came in just a few days before the Japanese surrendered....and remember what they got out of the deal?
Hegemony over North Korea.

Very mysterious.

A safe bet not to aide or assist us.
You know the Russian history they always seem to be there when the papers get signed after the fighting is done.
Maybe they promised Saddam a ride out of there.
Remember how they showed up in Clinton's war in Serbia, surprise everyone.
The people cannot take their eyes off the method of operation of Russia, never, never, trust what they say.
President Reagan said so clearly "TRUST BUT VERIFY". What will be interesting is if the Russians will protect France and Germany's interest or sell them out like they have so many times before.
To: maestro
Why are there six now?
To: OldFriend; Destro
To monitor the US and report back to Iraq. and to the French, and to the Germans, and to the UN
