By the way, flushed with oil money Russia's navy is not as rusty as they seem. Yes the Russian vessles are rust buckets but they have had a fresh paint job.

You assume they were in a hurry? Getting there before March would have been a waste of time. In the meantime they stop off at ports of call. Pleasure cruise really.
