and no Rush did not say it was wrong, he said Santorum and Hatch office called and told him the Fox story is not accurate.
Fox is standing by the story or can you link me to where Fox said it was a wrong story besides the date that the vote may take place that Frist told them in the interview.

I heard Tony Snow discussing this on the Sean Hannity show yesterday afternoon - Tony basically stood by the Fox story, explaining that the Fox piece was sound at the time it was reported; however, the Republican position had grown stronger during the day (yesterday).
