This one is a sure loser from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. See ya at the big house when Cert is granted.
To: Iron Eagle
FLASH: The 9th Circuit Declares the Declaration of Independence null and void, given that it cites God and God-granted rights as the basis for Independence.

So, they refused to hear it. That leaves the numbers voting one way or the other in doubt, but presumably it's a majority of these meatheads in favor of the original decision, or a consensus that avoids putting them on record again.

Which religion does "under God" endorse? Leaving the words out at the demands of an atheist endorses the religion of atheism, doesn't it? "All of the above" is just not always an option. Banning God endorses atheism more than "under God" endorses any particular religion.
The judicial activists strike again.
To: Iron Eagle
and who is surprised at this?
Yawn.... This will end up at the Supreme Court and they will over rule it
another reason why we need Estrada to get in

Not to mention that the Constitution itself must be declared unconstitutional because it uses the phrase "Year of our Lord"!
To: hapy
Next up split the 9th circuit to stop this nonsense....after all the ninth is sooooo overworked with such a heavy case load they need some assistance.
To: Iron Eagle
Imagine if Clinton were in he would sit back while we pledged to mother earth.
To: Iron Eagle
I have no problem with the under God part. The to the flag should be replaced with " to the Constitution" tho.

Not surprising.
Have they no "sacred honor"?
To: Iron Eagle
I wonder what part of:
Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
that stupid court didn't notice.

Folks will now think they can't say one nation under God now, in the pledge of allegience. SICK!!!
To: TaRaRaBoomDeAyGoreLostToday!
the 9th Circuit is filled with the kinds of judges that the DemoncRAT extremists consider "mainstream" and is why they are so aghast that normal people and particularly well qualified minorities like Estrada are nominated for such positions.
To: Iron Eagle
SCOTUS will bitch-slap the the 9th Circuit so hard it will make their mothers' heads spin.
To: Lunatic Fringe
No less The Constitution to "...secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity...."

Right on. And I'm sure this atheist terribly stressed over giving his daughter pocket change when it so blatantly offends her with "In God We Trust...." He needs to put his money where his mouth is and refuse to accept US currency.

I dont think it matters to these A-holes, the term "under God" represents to them, that there is a greater authority than the state in existance. The Liberals dont believe in any higher power than the state.

You know what is funny Wolf, he's the only one bent out of shape. The daughter, and mother are both Christians and like the pledge. They do not live with the father. I saw an interview with this fool, I wonder if he has realized his daughter is already a Christian.
