I believe Thomas Aquinas belief was in "halimorphism". Where the "container" should be complete for a human soul. His time table was the beginning of the third trimester, coinsidently that's when the brain waves start.

Coherent brainwaves do not evidence until weeks AFTER birth. Appealing to brainwaves is foolish because of the variability and the incoherence until well after birth.

Please provide a reference for your assertion that cerebral electrical activity does not start until after 26 weeks.
