Two of the more interesting numbers is that the His Holiness Zell Miller dropped from 60 in 2001 to 47 while the despised John McCain rose from 68 in 2001 to 78 in 2002. Are you still disappointed Sen. Miller is retiring?

Couple a' notes:
- Leach's jump to 56 still ain't helpin him. This butthead and the Hildabeast still want to abolish the Electoral College. OUT!
- McInsane's 68->78?? I don't believe it and even so, he sides with 'Rats on too many important issues (like CFR) so the CU number is irrelevant. OUT!!
- Chris Shays 32->76...an anomaly since his lifetime is still a 48 and he's another CFR hack. OUT!!
- Thanks for correctly labeling Jumpin' Jeffords as a "D" 'Rat. We certainly like our targets clearly identified.
- WEST VIRGINIA notes: Byrdopping to 15 is due mostly to senility. OUT!! And Mollohan down to 24 is all the more reason that Jay Wolfe should challenge him next year. Got yer ears on Senator Wolfe?

PS: Thanks for that state ranking. WOW, West Virginia's not at the bottom of a list...for the first time ever. Now who woulda thunk?!

It's a mystery why Ralph Hall (88) (D-TX) doesn't jump ship.
He claims this is his last term, though, but he said that after '00 as well.

Here's an interesting one for y'all.
Consider the Senate candidates up for re-election in 2004: Not counting McInsane & Sphincter (whom we hope lose their primaries), Lisa Murkowski (unknown rating but rumoured pretty low), Breaux (probably no serious Repub challenge), or Miller & Hollings (likely retirees), the
average Republican candidate's CU rating is 84 versus 12 of the average 'Rat senate candidate. With that spread, and the fact that most of our guys are safe in Bush states, with some decent candidates, we should be able to beat the 'Rats like a drum next year.

BUMPED and bookmarked.
This is critical information.
Saving the country begins with saving the Republican Party, and saving the Republican Party begins with getting good candidates to replace the liberal pigs who masquerade as Republicans.

My worthless (former) congressperson. She has been replaced, thankfully, by Scott Garrett. Look for him to put up high 90s if not a perfect 100. |
