Am I missing something? Is there anything new in this article? Or is this just a replay of other Gaffney threads?I call it a re-hash, with the allegation about Norquist being responsible for introducing Al-Arian to Candidate Bush during the 2000 campaign thrown in at the end--without any evidence to back up that claim

So....your answer is NO? There is no new information in the text of the article posted, but that something new MIGHT come up in the course of the thread? Or someone new, who has not been exposed to this information before, might read this thread?

Saber, I truly do see your point about some articles, even though on the same subject, deserving their own threads. This is not one of them. A lot of these could be tacked on to existing threads. If something with new, substantiated, information comes along, then I would agree that highlighting it by giving it its own thread is warranted.
Just my thoughts...

Dubya is a "Big Tent" Republican. It's no secret to anyone.
