This officer is lucky to be alive. He failed to recognize multiple classic "danger signs" and allowed ding-dong access to his gunside.

"This officer is lucky to be alive."I couldn't believe that when I read it either. I'm hoping it was the REPORTER who made the officer out to be that utterly incompetent. IMO, he's probably not the only one of the group at the accident scene lucky to be alive.
