This is my daughter the art major, who has managed to remain conservative through four years of college with the nose-ring, purple-hair crowd. I am very proud of her.
And I thought she might be spot on about those pantsuits. Somebody on the Rather/Saddam thread said that he expected to see her getting out of a German staff car any day now!
HA!

I'm confused. What did Frist just say about Monday at 6 PM? Is that when they're going to vote?
Frist requesting a vote for 6pm on Monday?

I think all this has something to do with the filabuster. Frist is forcing the quoram and making sure all the senators know that senate is still in session. I expect he can call for a quoram at any time senators sneak off the floor to get some sleep.

You should be so proud of your daughter! I was an art major too and stayed away from the psychedelic art crowd. We had stupid profs back then who tried to get us to demonstrate against the war but I stayed away from that and most of my classmates did too. I have one daughter who is in lawschool and has had the audacity to argue the pro-life side in class. My youngest daughter is an Interior Design major. My son, who is a West Point grad and a conservative too. Proud of them all.
