A little message that I sent to Direct TV after watching Bill Maher on HBO for about 45 seconds (hey Anne Coulter was on so I thought maybe ...)

Hey,

It took all of about three minutes to remove HBO (about the same amount of time that I spent watching the new Bill Maher show) from my programming package and as a consumer, man, does that make me happy (what a complete piece of crap that product was).

Now, I feel bad that it cuts into your profit as I won't be paying for that worthless piece of trash service. So, I thought for a moment what as a consumer I would pay more money for and it became obvious.

I would gladly pay more to not get CNN delivered to me. It galls me to no end that I am paying them to lie and slant news coverage. Now, I believe the market will eventually deal with their lack of integrity and professionalism but I would actually pay more NOT to receive their product.

What's the chance you could make one of your consumers even more delighted by your excellent service!

Just me trying to do my part. I'll post the reply if they send me one (usually I have received comments from them).

I post this because I went on line and edited my service with them from the web and as I was typing this comment, HBO went dark on my television. Magnificent!

I got rid of HBO months ago. I got sick of paying for a DNC spin machine. Don't forget to get rid of Cinemax, too, if you have it (same company).

I wish I could get rid of CNN and put more cash in my pocket. Everytime I listen to Wolf Blitzer he or his guest have some snide comment that gets my blood boiling.

I have a Tivo and its great - you can customize your channel lineup.

Long ago I edited CNN, MTV, VH1, CNNHN, MSNBC, etc from my lineup. When in my household, those channels don't exist!
